Reforestation Projects

As human populations continue to increase throughout East Africa, there is continued pressure to use firewood as fuel for cooking and heating.  Socially Responsible Coffee is committed to reforestation projects that supply coffee farmers and pickers with indigenous tree seedlings to plant around the perimeter of their compounds.  In addition, we help fund existing reforestation initiatives so that they can continue growing tree seedlings, and help teach local school children on the importance of planting trees.
