Uganda

Uganda, at the heart of East Africa, straddles the equator and is the source of the Nile River.  As it benefits from a bi-modal rainfall season and high altitudes, Uganda is Africa’s largest exporter of coffee, and the 6th largest in the world. Nearly all of the country’s coffee is produced by smallholder farmers who inter-crop their coffee fields with shade trees and bananas.

Varieties of Arabica and Robusta are available throughout the year, with their specialty coffees winning awards and accolades.
