Ethiopia
Ethiopia is the birthplace of Arabica coffee, and it is the home of a complicated coffee environment with a variety of altitudes and climate zones. Ethiopian coffee varies greatly depending on the region in which it was grown, and it can be either natural or washed, even when originating in the same region.
Smallholder coffee farmers work together through cooperatives, helping to strengthen quality and consistency, often leading to cup scores of 90+.
